George II - 1746George II - 1746
Very rare "Lima" sixpence. Minted in 1746 this sixpence is made from silver captured from the famous Spanish Treasure Fleet by Admiral Anson. He circumnavigated the globe to capture the "Prize of the Oceans", a remarkable feat. This sixpence is packed with history, a great coin.

George II - 1757
This sixpence has seen more than the average wear over the years with most of the legend including the date on the reverse hard to read. The date is just visible split in two at the top of the coin, the "1" looks like a "J". A good budget buy.
