George I - 1717George I - 1717
The only sixpence we have ever had from the year 1717, very rare indeed. This example is in good condition with a lot of detail still visible especially on the Roses and Plumes. If you would like something a little bit more special then this is your sixpence.

George I - 1723
Fabulous sixpence from 1723. At some point in it's 187 year history this sixpence was given as a "Love Token". This means it was bent twice. It has since been straightened but you can still see the lines where it was bent. It also had a whole drilled through it so that it could be worn on a chain. On the reverse of the coin are the letters "SSC" which stand for the South Seas Company that mined the silver used in the coin. A lovely piece of history.
