Unique opportunity - this is an Irish James II 1689 sixpence called Gunmoney. When there was a serious lack of silver (usually during war) other metals would be used to make coinage. During the English Civil War when towns were under siege they often cut up silver plates and goblets. This example is made from cannons! hence Gunmoney!
