The James I sixpences are extremely popular at the moment for weddings because of the date 1606 - these coins will be 400 years old at the time of the wedding! Minted in the year that Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Parliament - these coins are packed with history. The price depends on the grade of coin and as with many of the hammered coins the portrait is often poorly struck.
