"Love Token" sixpence from very early in Victoria's reign. A love token was a coin that was bent twice. This one also has evidence that it was drilled so that the coin could be hung on a chain. The hole has since been filled and the coin flattened out again, but the evidence is still there to see that 171 years ago this coin was given as a token of love.
